Job Overview

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Transactions Attorney to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and securities matters, or real estate transactions. This position offers access to an established platform with strong resources for professional development. Business portability is not required but is welcomed. This search is conducted by a legal recruitment agency on behalf of the firm.

Location

  • Austin, TX

Duties

  • Advise clients on corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations

  • Draft and negotiate contracts, corporate governance documents, and securities filings

  • Provide counsel on regulatory compliance and corporate structuring

  • Support real estate transactions as applicable

  • Collaborate with other attorneys and practice groups on cross-functional matters

Requirements

  • Substantial experience handling corporate transactions, M&A, or real estate deals

  • Strong understanding of corporate and securities law

  • Ability to manage matters independently and in collaboration with a team

  • No portable business required; client relationships welcomed but not mandatory

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active and good standing membership with at least one U.S. state bar

Skills

  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills

  • Deep knowledge of transactional structures and due diligence processes

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
