Job Overview:
A highly regarded law firm is seeking a talented mid-level associate to join its nationally recognized Antitrust practice. The ideal candidate will have significant experience handling government investigations, including FTC or DOJ merger and conduct matters, and/or private litigation. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile cases for top-tier clients, contributing to a team that has received multiple accolades for its excellence in antitrust law.

Location:

  • Washington, D.C. Office

Duties:

  • Represent clients in government investigations involving FTC or DOJ

  • Handle private antitrust litigation matters, including dispositive motions, class certification, and trial preparation

  • Provide compliance counseling and strategic antitrust advice

  • Collaborate with a leading team on complex legal issues and litigation strategy

Requirements:

  • 3–6 years of experience in antitrust litigation and/or merger clearance

  • Background in compliance and counseling in antitrust matters

  • Prior experience in a large law firm or relevant government agency strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated success managing substantive matters and client relationships

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Strong academic credentials required

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice law in the District of Columbia or eligibility to waive in

Skills:

  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
