Duties

  • Draft and respond to discovery requests and initial pleadings

  • Prepare and argue motions in court

  • Take and defend depositions

  • Manage labor and employment litigation cases from inception to resolution

  • Collaborate with legal teams to develop strategies for complex litigation matters

  • Communicate effectively with clients and co-counsel throughout the litigation process

Requirements

  • 2–6 years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on labor and employment law

  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced legal environment

  • Demonstrated capability in drafting motions, pleadings, and managing discovery

  • Experience handling depositions and court appearances

  • Strong organizational and case management skills

  • Admitted to practice law in the state of Florida

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Excellent academic credentials required

Certifications

  • Active license in good standing with the Florida State Bar

Skills

  • Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills

  • Confident in verbal advocacy and oral arguments
