Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of civil litigation experience. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior attorneys on complex Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury cases, participating in various aspects of case management and strategy development.

Duties:

• Collaborate with senior attorneys, associates, and legal staff in developing case management strategies for complex Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury cases.
• Conduct motions briefing, including drafting, filing, and arguing motions in court.
• Take and defend depositions, ensuring accurate and effective representation of clients.
• Participate in trial or arbitration proceedings, presenting cases in a compelling manner.
• Work on various aspects of case development, including legal research, document review, and analysis.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, providing updates on case progress.
• Collaborate with legal teams to ensure comprehensive and successful case resolution.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience.
• License to practice law in the state of Arizona (preferred).
• Experience in Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury litigation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex legal issues.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with legal teams.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• License to practice law in the state of Arizona (preferred).

Skills:

• Civil litigation experience of 3 or more years.
• Proficiency in motions briefing, depositions, and trial or arbitration proceedings.
• Legal research and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
