A law firm in Denver is seeking a Pre-litigation Personal Injury Attorney with 8+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in the personal injury field, including auto collisions, premises liability, and general negligence. Strong organizational and negotiation skills are required, along with the ability to maintain rapport with clients.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct monthly case reviews
  • Draft and send vital correspondence and notices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness (e.g., CGIA, spoliation, WC Notices)
  • Review demands with clients
  • Handle settlement disbursements and resolve subrogation claims, liens, and other third-party interests
  • Build client cases, ensuring all injuries, damages, and losses are documented for maximum recovery
  • Research and analyze case-specific legal issues and documentation, such as insurance policies and settlement releases
  • Maintain excellent communication with clients and provide thorough advisement
  • Negotiate settlements

 

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in the personal injury field
  • Licensed to practice law in Colorado

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Must be licensed to practice law in Colorado

 

Skills:

  • Strong organizational, accuracy, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work with multiple staff members
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in personal injury law, including auto collisions, premises liability, and general negligence
  • Proficiency in negotiation
