Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Denver, CO, is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in litigation, preferably in plaintiff's personal injury cases. They will manage a caseload of approximately 30 cases from start to trial, with the support of a full-time paralegal, and will be responsible for supervising the paralegal.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of approximately 30 litigation cases from inception through trial.
• Supervise a full-time paralegal assigned to the caseload.
• Draft pleadings, conduct depositions, and prepare/respond to written discovery and motions.
• Ensure compliance with Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Represent clients in jury trials and other legal proceedings.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• 4-9 years of experience in litigation, preferably in plaintiff's personal injury cases.
• Licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado.

Certifications:

Active membership in the State Bar of Colorado.

Skills:

• Strong litigation skills, including drafting pleadings and conducting depositions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
