A law firm in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Attorney to provide comprehensive support to case teams and clients in navigating the discovery process. The role entails advising on best practices, leveraging advanced technologies, and ensuring compliance with legal obligations and industry standards.

 

Duties:

  • Promote firm’s resources and capabilities to firm attorneys and staff through training and cultivating relationships.
  • Provide recommendations to case teams and clients on discovery process improvements and opportunities for leveraging advanced technologies.
  • Deliver training on technical and practical knowledge of RelativityOne and best practices.
  • Advise case teams on document preservation and collection obligations and strategies following Firm and industry best practices.
  • Draft Litigation Hold Notices and conduct document collection scoping interviews with clients.
  • Interface with vendors and client IT departments to facilitate document collections.
  • Collaborate with firm Discovery Analysts on data collection, processing, and ingestion into Relativity.
  • Develop and advise case teams on strategies for culling collected data for review in accordance with Firm and industry best practices.
  • Craft, revise, and test search terms for data culling and/or document review.
  • Advise case teams on conducting efficient and effective document reviews following Firm and industry best practices.
  • Set up and implement QC searches and protocols, as well as train and supervise contract attorney review teams.
  • Advise case teams on document production options and collaborate with firm Discovery Analysts on production specifications.
  • QC document productions and stay current on the development and evolution of case law, local rules, and best practices related to eDiscovery.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and Juris Doctorate degree required.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a dedicated eDiscovery Attorney.
  • Knowledge of and experience with eDiscovery Best Practices and industry trends including the Sedona Conference, EDRM, case law, and local court practices.
  • Proficiency with RelativityOne.
  • Successful management of multiple, high-priority, complex matters simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must have an active law license.
