Duties:

• Represent clients in civil, employment, and commercial litigation matters

• Navigate cases through all stages of litigation, including intake, drafting, depositions, mediations, and court appearances

• Handle employment-related legal matters, including disputes related to Title VII, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA

• Conduct appearances before federal and state courts, as well as administrative agencies such as the EEOC

• Perform detailed legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Coordinate with clients and colleagues to develop strategic litigation plans

• Maintain compliance with firm billing requirements (minimum of 35 billable hours per week)

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in civil litigation practice

• Admitted to practice in Florida

• Prior experience in both Federal and State Court proceedings

• Familiarity with employment law statutes and regulatory frameworks

• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently

• Demonstrated excellence in legal writing, case management, and courtroom advocacy

• A book of business is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Must be a member in good standing of the Florida Bar

Skills:

• Strong analytical, organizational, and legal research abilities

• Effective oral and written communication skills

• Proficient in legal practice software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Adaptability in a fast-paced legal environment
