Duties

• Handle litigation involving a diverse set of employment-related claims, including cases related to harassment, retaliation, discrimination, contracts, torts, and restrictive covenants

• Represent corporate clients in court proceedings, agency hearings, mediations, and arbitrations

• Respond to administrative agency charges and conduct internal investigations when needed

• Deliver legal advice and training to clients on workplace practices, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies

• Support clients involved in complex employment actions, including class and collective litigation

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in employment litigation or a closely related area

• Active and good-standing membership with the Michigan State Bar

• Familiarity with state and federal employment law procedures and enforcement agencies

• Demonstrated experience with motion practice, legal research, and case management

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative legal team

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan
