Senior Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a Senior Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney with a strong interest in developing stand-up and trial experience in high-stakes technology disputes. The candidate will take on a lead role in major litigation, including deposition handling, motion writing and arguing, and meaningful participation in trial teams. The position requires 8+ years of trial-focused civil litigation experience involving patents.

Duties:

• Develop stand-up and trial experience in high-stakes technology disputes.
• Lead major litigation cases, taking and defending depositions.
• Write and argue substantive motions with proficiency.
• Meaningfully participate in trial teams, including preparing witnesses, pretrial arguments, and overall strategy.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of trial-focused civil litigation experience involving patents.
• Juris Doctorate degree.
• Strong substantive legal skills.
• Ability to lead and manage case teams with limited partner supervision.
• Undergraduate degrees in engineering, chemistry, biology, and/or computer science fields are valuable.
