Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Divorce And Custody Associate Attorney to provide comprehensive legal representation to clients navigating divorce and custody proceedings. Duties:

• Achieve high levels of client satisfaction, reflected in at least a 9 out of 10 rating on client surveys.
• Meet billable hour and revenue requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case documentation in the case management program.
• Manage a caseload of divorce cases, ensuring timely progress and resolution.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure coordination.
• Draft and edit legal documents proficiently.
• Set and manage client expectations based on case developments.
• Provide responsive and empathetic communication to clients, informing them about case status.
• Represent clients in divorce and custody proceedings, including court appearances and mediation sessions.
• Analyze cases and create comprehensive plans aligned with client goals.
• Conduct proactive discovery to gain information and leverage.
• Demonstrate strong negotiation skills while maintaining professionalism.
• Prepare persuasive legal arguments and presentations for court.
• Ensure at least 67% of total working time is billable.
• Enter activities in the case management system accurately and contemporaneously.
• Assess numbers weekly to make adjustments as needed.
• Work with the team to ensure 100% collection for billed work.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in divorce and custody law.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.
• Proficiency with legal technology tools and programs.
