Duties

  • Draft, negotiate, and review technology contracts, including licensing and SaaS agreements

  • Advise clients on data privacy laws and intellectual property matters

  • Support technology-related aspects of mergers and acquisitions

  • Handle legal matters at various stages from initiation to conclusion

  • Maintain responsiveness and deliver high-quality legal services

  • Collaborate with internal legal teams and client representatives

  • Utilize support staff or junior attorneys to enhance client service delivery

  • Demonstrate ethical compliance and alignment with professional standards

  • Meet billable hour requirements and contribute to business development

  • Work independently while managing competing priorities effectively

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in technology transactions or related areas

  • Background in handling commercial and corporate agreements

  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and SaaS-related legal frameworks

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills

  • Capability to manage strategic aspects of multiple ongoing legal projects

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction where the firm conducts business

  • Compliance with continuing legal education (CLE) and license renewal requirements
