Duties:

  • Handle research-intensive assignments to analyze legal precedent and case-specific nuances

  • Prepare, review, and revise various legal filings, including motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements

  • Appear in court proceedings, depositions, and mediations to represent client interests

  • Support senior legal team members in complex litigation matters

  • Maintain accurate billing and meet productivity targets

  • Manage assigned caseload with regular oversight, gradually increasing autonomy

  • Participate in motion practice, case strategy meetings, and litigation-related events

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of legal practice or relevant judicial clerkship experience

  • Proficiency with litigation procedures and protocols, especially in Georgia

  • Demonstrated exposure to insurance-related claims or defense work

  • Familiarity with the Georgia Civil Practice Act is essential

  • Experience with discovery, deposition preparation, and at least some second-chair trial support preferred

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution
