Job Overview: A law firm in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Mid-Level Government Contracts Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government contracts law, including counseling clients, reviewing and negotiating agreements, and litigating bid protests.

Duties:

  • Counsel clients on government contracts, laws, and regulations
  • Review and negotiate subcontracts and teaming agreements
  • Litigate bid protests at the Government Accountability Office and/or Court of Federal Claims
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to government contract issues
  • Draft legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and memoranda
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in government contracts law
  • High level of academic achievement
  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Arizona State Bar or ability to waive in
  • Strong writing, drafting, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Arizona State Bar or ability to waive in
