Intellectual Property Associate Attorney

A law firm located in Columbus is currently seeking an Intellectual Property Associate Attorney. The candidate will be responsible for patent preparation and prosecution, patent licensing, performing patentability and clearance opinions, portfolio management, and conducting due diligence.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate superior analytical, oral, and written communication skills and thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Duties:

• Perform patent preparation and prosecution tasks.
• Facilitate patent licensing agreements.
• Conduct patentability and clearance opinions.
• Manage intellectual property portfolios.
• Conduct comprehensive due diligence investigations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
• Exceptional academic credentials.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in intellectual property law.
