Job Details:

  • Draft wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, and other estate planning documents for clients.
  • Prepare federal estate and gift tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Oversee probate and trust administrations, including asset distribution and resolution of estate issues.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on estate planning strategies and tax implications.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of clients' financial situations to develop tailored estate plans.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to address complex estate planning matters.
  • Stay updated on changes in estate planning laws and regulations to ensure accurate and effective counsel.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation for client matters.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Florida.
  • LL.M. in Taxation preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in estate planning law.
  • Strong proficiency in drafting estate planning documents and preparing tax returns.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
