Senior Class Action Attorney

A law firm located in Burbank is seeking a Senior Class Action Attorney with 3-5 years of experience litigating wage and hour class actions. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the California Labor Code, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide leadership to the Class Action department staff. The Senior Class Action Attorney will be responsible for overseeing a docket of Class Action Cases, ensuring each receives comprehensive attention and strategic direction. They will conduct case selection, identifying those with the highest potential for success and impact, and formulate effective strategies for litigation. Additionally, they will provide leadership to the Class Action department staff.

Duties:

• Oversee a docket of Class Action Cases, ensuring each receives comprehensive attention and strategic direction
• Conduct case selection, identifying those with the highest potential for success and impact
• Formulate effective strategies for litigation, leveraging deep legal insight and foresight to navigate complexities and maximize favorable outcomes for clients
• Provide leadership to the Class Action department staff
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the California Labor Code
• Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills
• Ensure compliance with all ethical and professional standards
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and arbitrations
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience litigating wage and hour class actions
• Thorough understanding of the California Labor Code
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Good standing with the CA State Bar

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the California State Bar
