Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience in complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will excel in drafting legal briefs, conducting legal research, and engaging in various litigation tasks, including representing clients in securities and complex commercial litigation cases.

Duties:

• Represent clients in securities and complex commercial litigation cases.
• Draft legal briefs, motions, pleadings, and other court documents.
• Conduct complex legal research to support litigation strategies.
• Engage in written discovery and document production.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Conduct witness interviews.
• Provide support to partners and senior attorneys as needed.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
• Exceptional writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Education:

Certifications:
