Job Overview: A law firm in Seattle, WA, is seeking a proficient Mid-Level Debt Finance Associate Attorney to join their team. This role involves handling upmarket bilateral, syndicated, and sponsor-backed deals for banks and private credit funds.

Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships within the firm and with external stakeholders.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience handling upmarket bilateral, syndicated, and sponsor-backed deals for banks and private credit funds.
  • Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
  • Must be admitted to practice in WA.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Washington State Bar.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of debt finance transactions and related legal frameworks.
