A law firm in West Palm Beach is seeking an Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Partner with expertise in defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, 401k plans, and profit-sharing plans. The ideal candidate should possess excellent drafting and communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within deadlines. The Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Partner will be responsible for providing legal counsel and strategic advice on matters related to executive compensation and employee benefits. They will leverage their expertise to serve clients and contribute to the firm's growth and success.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and counsel on executive compensation and employee benefits matters.
  • Draft and review documents related to defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, 401k plans, profit-sharing plans, and other employee benefit arrangements.
  • Assist clients in designing, implementing, and administering employee benefit programs.
  • Advise clients on compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and other applicable statutes.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members to deliver comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
  • Stay updated on developments in executive compensation and employee benefits law.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Membership in the Florida Bar or in the process of becoming a member.
  • 8+ years of experience practicing law in a law firm setting.
  • Expertise in executive compensation and employee benefits matters, including defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, 401k plans, and profit-sharing plans.
  • Strong drafting and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work effectively within deadlines.
  • Portable book of business is highly preferred.
