Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is actively seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join its litigation team in Raleigh, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advocating for individuals who have sustained life-changing injuries, providing top-tier legal assistance while ensuring the best possible outcomes for clients. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement and requires a strong commitment to justice, discovery, and litigation. Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive research on case law and statutory precedents to support client cases.
  • Review and analyze legal documents and briefs, ensuring they accurately present facts and legal arguments.
  • Prepare and draft various legal documents, including affidavits, petitions, and pleadings.
  • File and submit court documents and supporting materials as necessary.
  • Take depositions, and witness statements, and provide testimony as required.
  • Represent clients during mediation, arbitration, negotiations, and other legal proceedings.
  • Participate in all stages of litigation, from pre-trial discovery to trial preparation and court appearances.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Personal Injury Attorney or in a similar legal role.
  • Admission to the North Carolina State Bar.
  • Ability to manage a high caseload while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of legal procedures, court systems, and jurisdictional rules.
  • Experience with depositions, negotiations, and trial preparation.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent legal education is required.
  • Strong academic credentials are highly preferred.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina (NC State Bar).

Skills:

  • Exceptional research, writing, and analytical abilities.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • A high degree of professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications.
