Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an experienced Spanish-speaking Personal Injury Attorney to join its team. This position is open to candidates across North Carolina, with the flexibility to work remotely. The ideal candidate will represent clients in personal injury cases, ensuring clear communication and compassionate service for Spanish-speaking clients. This role offers the opportunity to handle a variety of cases, from car accidents to medical malpractice, while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in personal injury cases, including car accidents, slip and falls, and medical malpractice.
  • Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring clear understanding throughout the legal process.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents related to personal injury cases.
  • Manage case files and stay organized throughout the litigation process.
  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court hearings as needed.
  • Provide compassionate, client-focused legal counsel while maintaining professionalism.
  • Work independently and remotely, maintaining close communication with the team.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
  • At least 1 year of experience in personal injury law.
  • Fluent in Spanish (both written and spoken).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, while collaborating effectively with the team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, SharePoint) and case management software.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina.

Skills:

  • Fluency in Spanish (both written and spoken).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Legal research and document drafting.
  • Time-management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to negotiate settlements and represent clients in court.
