Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm. The primary responsibilities will include working with experts, assisting with fact development and depositions, reviewing and drafting discovery responses, briefs, motions, memoranda, and helping develop case strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience with product liability and/or complex commercial litigation, a science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology), and superior research, analytical, and writing skills. Experience with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry and clients is a plus.

Duties:

• Collaborate with experts to develop case strategies and analyze complex scientific and technical issues.
• Assist with fact development, conduct depositions, and prepare witnesses for testimony.
• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct legal research on relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.
• Work closely with partners and senior associates to effectively manage and execute litigation matters.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Experience with product liability and/or complex commercial litigation.
• Science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) required.
• Superior research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Experience with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry and clients is a plus.
• Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm experience.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in good standing.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
