Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Transactional Associate with 1-3 years of experience to join its environmental risk management team in Philadelphia. The role involves managing and mitigating environmental risks related to real estate and business transactions.

Duties

• Conduct environmental due diligence for real estate and M&A transactions.
• Structure solutions to environmental risks through remedial work and specialty insurance.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, including purchase and loan agreements.
• Engage in client interactions to provide high-demand, value-add services.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in corporate M&A, real estate, or transactional environmental law.
• Experience at large or boutique law firms preferred.
• Recent graduates will be considered.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the state bar.

Skills

• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and client interaction abilities.
