Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Beverly Hills, CA, is seeking a Litigation Attorney specializing in personal injury cases ranging from low six figures to multi-seven figures. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in general liability or personal injury litigation.

Duties:

• Specialize in litigating personal injury cases of varying values.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including briefs, settlement offers, and discovery motions.
• Manage and prioritize a large and complex caseload.
• Take and defend depositions from witnesses, parties, and experts.
• Correspond with clients and opposing counsel.
• Interview clients to understand case details and determine strategies for settlement or trial.
• Prepare cases for trial by acquiring evidence and conducting investigations.
• Help clients prepare for mediation sessions or settlement conferences.
• Educate clients about their legal rights and responsibilities.
• Prepare and file court documents such as complaints or motions.
• Represent clients in court proceedings.

Requirements:

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Empathetic and emotionally intelligent.

Experience:

2+ years of experience specializing in general liability or personal injury litigation.
