Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Estate Planning Partnership Track Associate in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fiduciary litigation and complex probate and trust matters, with a focus on developing and executing sophisticated litigation strategies.

Duties

  • Manage a docket of cases and build their practice.
  • Develop and execute sophisticated litigation strategies.
  • Settle multi-issue disputes independently.
  • Handle court appearances and depositions regularly.
  • Lead client communication and provide meaningful updates.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in fiduciary litigation and complex probate and trust matters.
  • Solid understanding of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Evidence.
  • 1900 billable hours are required

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills

  • Ability to independently manage a caseload from beginning to end.
  • Strong client communication skills.
