Job Overview

A law firm seeks a corporate associate with 2-4 years of experience in capital markets and public company work in New York. The ideal candidate will have a background in representing issuers or investment banks in capital markets transactions, including IPOs, equity/debt offerings, and private investments in public entities.

Duties

• Represent issuers or investment banks in capital markets transactions.
• Handle IPOs, equity/debt offerings, and PIPEs.
• Manage public company reporting compliance and governance.
• Address day-to-day issues for public companies, including SEC and Nasdaq/NYSE compliance.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of law firm experience in capital markets and public company work.
• Experience with SEC compliance and disclosure matters.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
