Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified associate to join the strategic equities transactions group in New York, NY. The role is ideal for a 3rd through 6th year associate with a background in capital markets, ISDA-based derivatives documentation, secured transactions, or bankruptcy/restructuring. This position offers the opportunity to engage in complex and high-stakes equity derivatives and related transactions.

Duties

  • Assist in financing, hedging, and monetization transactions.
  • Participate in capital raising and structured repurchase transactions.
  • Engage in structured acquisition transactions.
  • Collaborate with global partners to provide cross-border legal services.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant legal experience.
  • Experience in capital markets or related transactional practices preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
