A law firm in Southfield is seeking a Securities Associate Attorney with 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in the 1934 Act.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in securities law matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on securities regulations and compliance issues.
  • Draft and review securities-related documents, including registration statements, prospectuses, and disclosure filings.
  • Assist with securities offerings, including initial public offerings (IPOs) and private placements.
  • Advise clients on corporate governance matters and compliance with securities laws.
  • Represent clients in securities enforcement actions before regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders on securities-related transactions and matters.
  • Stay current on developments in securities laws and regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 5+ years of experience in securities law.
  • Experience with the 1934 Act.
  • Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Skills:
