Duties:
Conduct public record reviews to identify title discrepancies and recommend resolutions
Draft pleadings, motions, and other filings related to quiet title actions
Perform legal research and apply findings to develop case strategies
Analyze delinquent property tax records for litigation preparation
Represent clients in court proceedings concerning quiet title and related matters
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to internal teams and external stakeholders
Monitor case progress and maintain organized documentation of case developments
Requirements:
Active license to practice law in South Carolina, or scheduled to take the SC Bar in 2025
Familiarity with South Carolina Rules of Civil Procedure
Prior exposure to civil litigation preferred
Proven ability to handle legal research and articulate clear, practical conclusions
Strong analytical skills and a conscientious approach to complex issues
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating within a close-knit team
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Admission (or pending admission) to the South Carolina Bar
Skills:
