Junior-Mid Level IP Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Junior-mid-Level IP Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team. The successful candidate will be able to work with clients, large and small, from various industries across the country. They will primarily focus on trademark practice and litigation, with exposure to copyright, patent, and trade secrets litigation.

Duties:

• Handle all facets of domestic and international trademark counseling
• Participate in trademark, copyright, patent, and trade secrets litigation
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on intellectual property matters
• Assist with client development and business generation activities

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of focused experience in a national trademark practice
• Significant experience in trademark counseling and litigation
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: Copyright litigation, Patent litigation, Trademark litigation, Trade secrets litigation
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Exceptional academic record from a reputable law school
• Admission in good standing with the Minnesota Bar or eligibility for admission as soon as practicable

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Minnesota Bar or eligibility for admission
