General Liability Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney for its San Francisco, CA location. The General Liability Associate Attorney will handle local and national accounts throughout California, independently managing a litigation caseload. They will conduct depositions, prepare witnesses for deposition and trial, review discovery requests, and prepare court filings. The ideal candidate will have experience in product liability, transportation, aviation, or premises liability practice areas.

Duties:

• Handle local and national accounts throughout California
• Independently manage a litigation caseload
• Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for deposition and trial
• Review and analyze discovery requests
• Prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings
• Prepare court filings and service to counsel, including experience with e-filing
• Assist in trial preparation and support
• Maintain accurate time records

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in the state of California
• 2+ years of experience in product liability, transportation, aviation, or premises liability
• Experience with motion practice and depositions
• Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions
• Superior research and writing skills

Education:

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
