Job Overview: A law firm in New York City, NY, seeks a highly skilled Leveraged Finance Associate Attorney with at least 7 years of experience in leveraged loans and acquisition financings. Candidates with related finance experience will also be considered.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to leveraged finance transactions.
  • Draft and review transaction documents, including credit, security, and inter-creditor agreements.
  • Assisted in due diligence processes and reviewed documentation for leveraged finance deals.
  • Work closely with partners and clients to provide legal advice and support throughout transactions.
  • Participate in negotiations with counterparties and assist in resolving legal issues during transactions.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar (active and in good standing).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing law with a focus on leveraged finance or related finance experience.
  • Strong understanding of finance principles and concepts relevant to leveraged finance transactions.
  • Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar (active and in good standing).
