Duties:

  • Represent clients in insurance defense litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Engage in all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with clients and senior attorneys.
  • Conduct client interviews and maintain regular client communications to provide updates and legal advice.
  • Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation and arbitration processes.
  • Manage case files efficiently, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Mentor and guide junior attorneys and paralegals.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal standards and court regulations.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state of California.
  • 2 to 12 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
  • Proven track record of handling complex insurance defense cases.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state court procedures and rules.
  • Excellent litigation and trial skills.
  • Effective negotiation and dispute-resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of California.
