Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid/senior associate with 3-6 years of experience to join their Public M&A team in Philadelphia. The role offers the chance to engage in high-profile M&A transactions, particularly within the Life Sciences sector, and to develop a broad skill set as a strategic advisor.

Duties

  • Engage in M&A transactions involving public companies on both the sellside and buyside.
  • Advise on related securities laws and compliance matters.
  • Collaborate with teams across Technology, Life Sciences, Real Estate, and Financial Services practices.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships as a trusted advisor.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of general M&A and transactional experience.
  • Experience with public company transactions preferred.
  • Familiarity with Tech and/or Life Sciences industries is a plus.
  • Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

  • Effective client management and relationship-building skills.
