Duties:

  • Take and defend expert and witness depositions

  • Draft original motions and other litigation-related documents on complex toxic tort matters

  • Draft discovery requests and responses for various parties

  • Develop and maintain client relationships through oral and written communication

  • Prepare for trial, including motions in limine, exhibit lists, and witness lists

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in asbestos or toxic tort litigation (Required)

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from a top law school (Required)

  • Licensed to practice law in California (Required)

  • Experience in a billable work environment

  • Self-motivated, high-energy individual with a strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines

  • Superior written and oral communication skills with excellent attention to detail

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in California (Required)

Skills:

  • Toxic tort litigation (asbestos, products liability, general negligence)

  • Legal research and writing

  • Deposition skills (expert and witness)
