Commercial Litigation Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with the following responsibilities, qualifications, and benefits:

Job Overview:

• Provide legal representation to clients in commercial litigation matters.
• Conducted legal research, prepared legal documents, and advocated for clients in court proceedings.

Duties:

• Handle a caseload of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, motions, and trials.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and client expectations.

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Admission to the New York Bar is required.
• Admission to the New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania Bar(s) would be a plus.
• Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York Bar is required.
• Admission to the New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania Bar(s) is preferred.
