Litigation Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney in Roswell, GA to represent mortgage lenders and investor clients in commercial and residential foreclosure, title disputes, and real estate litigation. The role involves court appearances, case strategy development, document drafting, and settlement negotiations.

Duties

• Manage a caseload of contested matters for mortgage lenders and investors.
• Appear in court for routine and contested hearings.
• Communicate regularly with clients for updates and resolutions.
• Analyze loan files, title reports, and other documents.
• Draft motions and prepare written discovery and responses.
• Conduct legal research and writing.

Requirements

• J.D. degree, licensed in Georgia, and in good standing with the Georgia Bar.
• 1-8 years of relevant litigation experience preferred.
• Experience with motion practice and courtroom proceedings.
• Knowledge of Georgia Mortgage Foreclosure Law and Civil Procedure.
• Experience with foreclosure litigation involving residential and commercial property.
