Insurance Defense Attorney

Dallas office of our client seeks an insurance defense attorney with 3-6 years of experience in auto defense litigation or plaintiffs' personal injury. The candidate will be a part of the trucking accident litigation team and provide legal representation to transportation companies in all aspects of litigation. Handle cases from beginning to end and prepare legal pleadings, motions, statements, and trial briefs, and be involved in negotiating settlements. Work closely with clients and paralegals to prepare timely reports on litigation, ensuring all appropriate defenses are leveraged to reach positive outcomes. Analyze written discovery, depositions, and medical records and assess the value of claims to determine risk exposure.

The candidate should be able to work independently or with a team with strong attention to detail along with the ability to organize and prioritize workload while working with an electronic diary. Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills are required. Should have the ability to work effectively with clients and customers and negotiate on their behalf.
