Patent Agent

Job Overview: A law firm in Houston, TX, is seeking a skilled Patent Agent with at least 2 years of patent prosecution experience, particularly in areas such as 5G, Wi-Fi, wireless technologies, AI, processor and memory systems, image processing, and RF front-end. Duties:

• Conducting patent prosecution activities, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
• Collaborating with inventors and attorneys to understand inventions and draft patent applications.
• Conducting prior art searches and analyzing technical literature to support patentability assessments.
• Assisting in patent portfolio management and strategy development.
• Communicated with clients regarding patent matters and provided legal advice and opinions.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of patent prosecution experience.
• Experience in patent prosecution related to 5G, Wi-Fi, wireless technologies, AI, processor and memory systems, image processing, and RF front end.
• Excellent academic credentials.

Education:
