Senior Business Litigation Associate

A prominent full-service law firm in Southwest Florida is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney with at least four years of experience to join its Business Litigation department in Fort Myers. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to work on complex commercial, construction, and real estate-related litigation matters. The ideal candidate will contribute significantly to case strategy, trial preparation, and execution while collaborating closely with experienced partners.

Location

Duties

• Draft and review substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Participate in trials and arbitration proceedings

• Work collaboratively with partners on litigation strategy and execution

• Handle matters involving construction disputes and real estate litigation (preferred)

• Manage multiple litigation matters and meet court-imposed deadlines

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of commercial litigation experience

• Experience with construction-related and real estate-related claims is a plus

• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

• Highly organized and motivated to contribute to long-term client success

• Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

• Strong academic credentials required

• Active Florida Bar license
