Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Real Estate Finance Associate to join its team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in commercial real estate finance, working with both lenders and borrowers on a variety of sophisticated transactions.

Duties

• Represent clients in senior mortgage loans, construction loans, and leverage loans.
• Handle mezzanine financing and preferred debt and equity investments.
• Manage A-Note and co-lender transactions.
• First chair transactions and run deals with team support.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of experience in commercial real estate finance.
• Strong drafting and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in New York or Washington, DC preferred.
