Job Overview

A law firm seeks a results-driven public finance associate to join its Philadelphia office. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience representing a range of public and private entities in structuring and executing complex finance transactions. This role involves advising clients such as states, municipalities, school districts, authorities, and 501(c)(3) organizations, as well as financial institutions, on tax-exempt and taxable financings.

Duties

  • Advise clients on a wide range of tax-exempt and taxable financings.
  • Serve as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, and borrower's counsel.
  • Engage in various types of finance transactions.
  • Collaborate with public and private entities on complex finance matters.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in public finance.
  • Experience with transactional corporate matters is a plus.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Admitted to practice in the State of Pennsylvania.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Skills

  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
