Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior to mid-level associate with 3 to 6 years of experience to join their mortgage finance group in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on securitization and servicer representation, with opportunities to work from other US offices.

Duties

  • Support the mortgage finance group with securitization and servicer representation.
  • Engage in CMBS securitization, including single asset-single borrower deals.
  • Participate in CRE-CLOs and related transactions involving commercial mortgage loans.
  • Review and negotiate servicing agreements.

Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of relevant legal experience.
  • Experience with CMBS securitization and related transactions.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
