A law firm in Roswell is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Lawyer with a passion for helping people. The ideal candidate will handle case files from start to finish, provide legal advice to clients, and manage a team of litigation support staff.

 

Job Duties:

  • Handle personal injury case files from inception to resolution
  • Delegate tasks and manage a team of litigation paralegals, legal assistants, case managers, and legal secretaries
  • Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather necessary information
  • Assess potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients
  • Maintain updated status documentation of all case files in the case management system
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
  • Review, modify, and draft various legal documents including motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, claims, and subpoenas
  • Stay abreast of updates and changes in personal injury law, tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice

 

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
  • Possess up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law, tort law, and related legal areas
  • Maintain a state license to practice law and membership in the State Bar Association
  • Demonstrate superior research, negotiation, drafting, and communication skills
  • Proficient in computer usage
  • 3+ years of successful personal injury pre-suit experience

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
  • State license to practice law and membership in the State Bar Association
