This role will involve working on complex financial transactions, primarily focusing on derivative instruments, ISDA documentation, and related regulatory matters. Duties:

• Draft and negotiate structured finance documents, including ISDA Master Agreements, Schedules, Credit Support Annexes, and Confirmations

• Provide counsel on over-the-counter derivative instruments and evolving regulatory frameworks

• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external parties to manage deal flow and execution timelines

• Research legal and regulatory developments affecting financial products

• Deliver practical legal advice on complex structured products and risk mitigation strategies

• Participate in cross-office and cross-practice group initiatives

• Manage client expectations and relationships with professionalism and responsiveness

• Contribute to the development of legal precedents and internal knowledge sharing

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in structured finance and derivatives

• Prior experience at a top-tier or nationally recognized law firm preferred

• Substantive knowledge of ISDA protocols, including Dodd-Frank-related documentation

• Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of sophisticated work independently and with minimal supervision

• Proven ability to balance multiple transactions simultaneously

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in the state of California
