A law firm is seeking a Healthcare Transactional Associate Attorney with the following qualifications:

Job Overview: The Healthcare Transactional Associate Attorney will support the firm's healthcare transactional practice, particularly in private equity transactions. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of transactional experience, preferably with a focus on healthcare private equity and a strong interest in expanding their practice in this area.

Duties:

  • Assist in structuring and negotiating healthcare transactions, particularly in the private equity sector.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews and analysis.
  • Draft and review transactional documents, including contracts, agreements, and legal opinions.
  • Provide legal advice and support to clients on healthcare regulatory matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex transactions and projects.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of transactional experience, preferably focusing on healthcare private equity.
  • Prior experience in a sophisticated law firm environment is preferred.
  • Excellent academic credentials with a J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in Washington, DC.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice law in Washington, DC.

Skills:

  • Transactional experience, particularly in healthcare and private equity.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
