Job Overview
A law firm seeks a midlevel ADA Title III Associate to join their Labor and Employment team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of litigation experience and a strong interest in ADA Title III matters.

Duties

  • Defend lawsuits in federal and state courts related to ADA Title III.
  • Counsel clients on compliance with ADA Title III and related laws.
  • Respond to DOJ and agency investigations regarding alleged discriminatory practices.
  • Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on complex cases.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience with discrimination lawsuits against public accommodations or housing providers.
  • Excellent academic credentials and strong analytical, verbal, and written skills.
  • Admission to the Massachusetts, New York, or Washington, D.C. Bar.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

  • Strong litigation skills, including writing, analysis, research, and communication.
  • Experience with ADA Title III and Fair Housing Act is desirable.
