Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Employment Attorney in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated advocate with strong writing and research skills, committed to advancing civil rights and supporting clients in employment law matters.

Duties

  • Represent individuals and classes in discrimination, wage and hour, and whistleblowing cases.
  • Work directly with clients and lead in drafting pleadings and briefs.
  • Participate in court proceedings and advocate for clients' rights.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys to provide comprehensive legal support.

Requirements

  • Admission to the New York Bar.
  • Experience in litigation and/or clerkship; employment law experience preferred.
  • Strong legal writing and independent work capabilities.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in New York.
