Trademark Attorney

A law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking a Trademark Attorney with 1-3 years of experience in trademark prosecution, counseling, enforcement, and handling matters before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). Patent Bar eligibility is preferred.

Duties:

• Conduct trademark prosecution, counseling, and enforcement.
• Handle matters before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).
• Conduct legal research on trademark issues.
• Draft and review trademark applications, responses, and legal documents.
• Advise clients on trademark matters, including trademark clearance and registration.
• Manage trademark portfolios for clients.
• Handle trademark disputes and enforcement actions.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the District of Columbia Bar.
• 1-3 years of experience with trademark prosecution, counseling, and enforcement.
• Experience handling matters before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).
• Patent Bar eligibility is preferred.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the District of Columbia Bar.
• Patent Bar eligibility preferred.
